About The Grammar Disc
The Grammar Disc was developed by Agenda Communication Pty Ltd, WestOne Services, the WA Deaf Society, and Deaf Consultant Josie Hodgetts.
The project was funded by the Workplace English Language and Literacy (WELL) Program through the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.
The resource took nearly two years to produce, from July 2007 to April 2009. It was released in May 2009.
Eleven West Australian workplaces supported the development of the resource by allowing video footage and photographs to be taken on their premises.
The workplaces involved were: Apex Auto Service Centre, Austrahose Pty Ltd, Australia Post, Balshaw's Florist's, Caffissimo at the Gallery, City of Subiaco Council, Diamond Forest Cottages, Fire and Emergency Services (WA, Royal Perth Hospital, Perth Regional Roof Trusses, Select Fresh and WestOne Services.
